City of Manor Announcing Single Stream Recycling

The City of Manor is announcing a new single stream recycling program for all Manor residents. Starting on Wednesday, February 26, Allied Waste Services will service and remove all 18 gal containers from current recycling customers.  Everyone Please read the following:

It is very important that any  Manor resident who currently has an 18 gal recycle bin should put their bin out on this scheduled service day, even if it is empty. During the service day of Wednesday, February 26, new 96 gal toters, similar to your current trash toters will be delivered to every resident in the City of Manor.

 

These new containers will allow residents to recycle more items and provide the residents with an every other weekly pickup schedule. The first pickup date with the new containers will be on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, with recurring pickups every other week throughout the year. The City of Manor and Allied Waste are pleased to offer the residents of Manor this new service and look forward to a smooth transition.
