Manor, TX HOA’s – Bulk trash pick up – March 10, 2012

Spring cleaning is finally here.  The City of Manor has announced the schedule of their bulk trash pick-up for this spring.  This effects all residents within the city of Manor and all HOA communities as well.  Below are the details of this pick-up and what items are allowed and what isn’t allowed to be picked up.   City of Manor bulk trash pick-up:    March 10, 2012   List of accepted items for pick-up:
  • Bundles of branches
  • bags of leaves
  • bags of extra trash,
  • loose yardage
  • chairs
  • recliners
  • large furniture
  • couches
  • mattresses
  • water heaters
  • appliances (refrigerators must have doors removed. Refrigerators and air conditioning units must be technician certified to be freon free and the certificate attached to the unit)
List of NON accepted items for pick-up:
  • bags of cement
  • cinder blocks
  • railroad ties
  • bricks
  • steel
  • door frames
  • tile
  • mirrors or glass
  • batteries or tires
  • chemicals or wet paint
  • televisions
  • computer monitors
  • dead animals
  • sheet rock
  • toilets or bath tubs
  • sofa beds
  • rocks or dirt
If you have any specific questions on items that are acceptable or not acceptable, please contact Allied Waste at (512) 247-5647 This is your chance to get a head start on your spring cleaning.  Please make sure you have your big items ready and near the curb for pick up.  The pick-up will be in the morning with times varying based on HOA community or neighborhood. In order to prevent any confusion or trouble with your HOA Management company, please do no place your big items at the curb until March 9, 2012 in the evening.  Community inspectors will mistake your bulk items for trash left on the property and may proceed to write an HOA deed restriction violation.
