PS Property Management Company is looking for a full-time Maintenance Manager to assist in managing a growing portfolio of HOA and Condo Associations in the Austin Area.  We are local company that has been serving local HOA and condo communities since 1987.  We offer a fun, fast paced work environment, with plenty of opportunity for growth professionally and financially.

Qualifications Required:

  • High School education or equivalent
  • General knowledge of electrical, boilers, water heaters, plumbing, gates, pumps and swimming pools
  • Minimum of 2 years on-site apartment, condominium, hotel or similar facility maintenance experience
  • Is knowledgeable about competitive pricing of contractors and supplies
  • Must possess valid drivers license, car insurance and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to complete tasks with little or no supervision
  • Must have own tools
  • Must be HVAC Certified (A/C Certification)

Essential Functions:

  • Inspects the communities when on-site and reports issues promptly to the Community Manager
  • Performs routine plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Performs routine carpentry, painting and other such tasks
  • Ensures that trash and waste are picked up when on-site
  • Ensures that preventative maintenance is performed on a timely basis and that preventative maintenance schedules are followed
  • Assists the Community Manager in obtaining bids and provides on-site supervision of contractors and vendors
  • Completes required service requests in a timely manner
  • Participates in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventative maintenance program
  • Ensures an adequate inventory of supplies for repairs
  • Must be available for emergencies on evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be prompt, on time to work, and have good, regular attendance
  • Must communicate promptly and regularly with the Community Manager and interact with residents in a friendly and polite fashion
  • Must stay informed and comply with all policies and rules
  • Performs others duties as assigned by the Community Manager
